Our Staff

 
Our staff brings experience, dedication, and committment to strengthening families and keeping children safe.
 
The Family Enhancement Center has an ethnically diverse staff filled with varied life experiences who are able to connect with the many client groups we serve. Our prevention staff is trained in regard to the risks and risk reduction related to sexual abuse as well as experience helping high-risk families avoid child abuse and neglect through intensive one to one mentoring, education, modeling, and group work. 
 
Our therapists at the Family Enhancement Center have expertise working with children ages birth to 18 and their families with extensive training in the treatment of post-tramatic stress disorder and other effects of abuse and neglect.

 
Libby Bergman, LICSW is one of three co-founders of the Family Enhancement Center and has served as our Executive Director since 2000.  Libby also contributes to the agency through public speaking, parent education and therapeutic services. She has worked with youth and families around abuse isses for the past 25 years. 
 
Amy Moeller, LICSW is one of three co-founders of the Family Enhancement Center.  She has provided expert therapeutic services for children and their families since 1993.  Amy currently offers assistance to families through our In- Home program as well as traditional individual and family therapy.  Most recently, Amy has taken a leaderrship role in developing a children's therapy group for youth ages 6 to 12 who have experineced sexual abuse.
 
 
Martha Rodriguez has been working for the Family Enhancement Center since 2000 in various capacities.  She has facilitated the Spanish Speaking Solid Starts program and currently also provides In-Home services for Spanish speaking families.  Martha is a native Spanish speaker from Colombia and has a background in law and Community Health. Martha and her husband are the proud parents of Jennifer, age fourteen. 
 
 
Tim Hennessey, M.A., has been a part of the Family Enhancement Center team since 2004 primarily conducting parenting assessments.  Tim has worked in as a social worker, therapist, and mediator and has an extensive background in training and development.  Tim enjoys spending time with his family, doing volunteer work, cooking, music, and reading. 
 
Judy Rolchigo, Development Director, learned about the Family Enhancement Center through her daughter Jennifer, who was an intern for the center while in graduate school. Judy became involved intially as a volunteer helping with our annual fundraising event and after just one fundraiser took over as our official "Event Chairperson"! Now we're lucky to have Judy in her new role as Development Director where her responsibilites include: all fundraising events, donations and corporate collaborations. Judy also helps out in any way she can by assisitng staff needs, scheduling and organizing.
 
 
Liz Gamble Taylor, LICSW began working at the Family Enhancement Center in 2003, and has been involved with various programs including: psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults; Families Moving Forward: Helping children heal from sexual abuse; the In-Home Parenting program; and court-ordered parent assessments.  On a personal note, Liz enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her two grown daughters, and traveling with her husband.   
 
Eugenia Apaza received her MSW in 2006 from The College of St. Catherine/University of St. Thomas. Eugenia is an LGSW and has been at the Family Enhancement Center since 2006. As an In-Home Worker, Eugenia works with both English and Spanish speaking clients.   Eugenia is a native Spanish speaker from Equador.                        
 
In 2007, Mary Rosener, MFT, began working with us at the Family Enhancement Center. She provides In-Home parenting services for a number of families affected by abuse.  In addition, Mary is a group facilitator for our "Families Moving Forward" program which assists parents of children that have been sexually abused.  Mary's background is in working with special education and youth who are affected by learning or emotional behavioral disorders.
 
Carmen Means faciliates the Circle of Friends and the Solid Starts groups.  Carmen has worked with high risk youth since 1993 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from Northwestern College in St. Paul. Carmen, and her husband of 12 years, also keep VERY busy as proud parents of their two sons, Silas -age seven and Simar - age one.
 
Carolyn Washington has been with the Family Enhancement Center since 2007 in our In-Home parenting program. She is an expereinced parent who especially enjoys helping young mothers get a good start with their infants.  In 2000, Carolyn directed her career towards helping parents gain and improve their parenting skills.  Another vital skill Carolyn brings to our organization is her special expertise in infant development.   
 
Kelly O. Finnerty is a graduate student working towards a Master's degree and licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist at Saint Mary's University. Kelly also holds a Master's degree in Creative Arts and  has worked as an educator in schools and museums. In 2008, Kelly began working at the Center as an In-Home worker offering family therapy and parenting education. Kelly is also co-leading a weekly parenting group and assisting with parent assessments.
