Child Abuse FAQ's

Here are some of the Frequently Asked Questions we recieve at the Center for Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment, a division within the Family Enhancement Center:

►Are you concerned about a child in your family, church, work place or neighborhood?

►Are you concerned about your own children? Are they possibly being affected by violence or sexual behavior in their home?

►Are you concerned about yourself? Are you easily frustrated with your children and find yourself behaving in ways you do not feel comfortable with?

►Do you want to help the families and children in your daily life?

If I had my child to raise all over again,
I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.
I'd finger-paint more, and point the finger less.
I would do less correcting and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars.
I'd do more hugging and less tugging.
